American producer takes action against the growing global problem

Marbella, MA (RM) – Said the Sky announced yesterday on Instagram he drops his new single ‘Worth Living For’ in honor of world suicide prevention day.

The American electronic dance music producer, DJ, and musician hope with this song to bring awareness to the growing trend of suicide by using short clips of beautiful moments sent by people.

Said the Sky writes on Instagram: “in honor of world suicide prevention day I partnered with To Write Love on Her Arms, Levi The Poet, Olivver the Kid, and Songs That Saved My Life to amplify the conversation and take action to reverse the growing rate of suicide. In hopes of creating something beautiful, I asked you to share the moments that make your life worth living for. Here’s a teaser of what we made with those moments.”

According to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the suicide rate has grown significantly at an average of 132 suicides per day with alarming growth by the age group 15 to 24-year-old. Guyana is listed as the country with the highest suicide rate followed by Lesotho, and Russia.

“100% of proceeds from this song will be benefiting To Write Love on Her Arms.” writes Said the Sky. To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope & finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, & suicide.
