Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy. Having grown up on his mother’s eclectic combination of 80s pop (Wham, Madonna, Michael Jackson) synth-infused music (Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode, Yazoo and New Order) Paul ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence.”
Paul bought his first set of decks in the late 90s and began his career playing house and trance and working in various bars/clubs back in his native country, Wales (UK).
His love of Deep Vocal House began back in 2014 having been inspired by the work from Anton Ishutin, DJ Tarkan, Pete Bellis to name a few.
Purveyor of deep, infectious house music and feel-good vocals.” That’s how Paul Williams describes himself as a DJ.
Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: melodic sound, brooding bassline and a distinctive uplifting vocal. “For me, it’s all about mood and a deep, hypnotic groove… playing those tracks that get you tapping your feet and nodding your head without you realizing it”
This year, Paul Williams aspires to keep moving forward with his career and after a successful spell running his own show at Beach-Radio, he chose Radio Marbella as his new home and is looking forward to the launch of his new show, Deep Essence.
