Dj Empress claims to be sexual abused by Erick Morillo and Ida Engberg speaks out

Earlier this month, DJ Empress and Ida Engberg accuse the deceased DJ Erick Morillo of rape and sexual assault on the social network.

Five days ago, Ida Engberg shared an image on Instagram with the message that Eric Morillo’s behavior is being brushed under the carpet. Today, Dj Empress shared shocking details on Facebook and claims he sexually harassed her in New York.

Last month, the producer and DJ were arrested for sexual battery of a woman in December 2019. According to the report, he led the victim to his home and assaulted her while severely intoxicated.

Ida Engberg

Swedish techno DJ Ide Engberg shares her opinion on Instagram: “Our Dance music community should not be brushing the behavior of Eric Morillo under the carpet. We owe it to all women of our generation and to generations to come. We should not glorify rapists. Sickening to see how star struck our community is. Shame on us. After a long late-night discussion in Jamie Jones’s comment field yesterday I feel that this needed to be said out loud and clear. No means no and rape is rape”.

The female victim claims she has feeling intoxicated and found an empty room in the home to sleep by herself.

She reported “waking up nude on the bed, with Mr. Morillo standing on the side of the bed also nude”.

Morillo denied the accusations against him but a rape kit tested positive for his DNA, according to Miami’s Local10 News.

Morillo said he didn’t have sex with the woman who called 911. He said he had sex with the other woman, who confirmed that they had had sex.

Dj Empress shares a very disturbing story that took place at Satellite, a Record Store in NYC.

“I’ve been holding this in since 1998, so I might as well say it now, as it may help some people. Erick Morillo used to sexually harass me like crazy when I worked as a buyer at a Record Store in NYC called Satellite when I was 17 years old. 

So much so that he even got my phone # out of the store’s database without my consent and also a friend of mine’s home # that I was at so he could call me & leave me harassing disgusting weird breathy, sexual messages. He would come up behind me and rub his dick all over my legs & butt when I was facing the wall putting away records, while breathing his hot, wet breath into my ears & whisper perverted sexual things he wanted to do to me. The first few times he did that to me, I remember just freezing. I didn’t know what to do, I was so young.

It was the “I like to move it move it guy”- everyone at that time knew that song. He was this super intense, totally perverted creep. I would hide downstairs in the basement of the shop & in the bathroom when he was in the store and I would get screamed at to get back on the floor by the owner. 

Everyone knew what he did to me. 

One antagonistic employee would even antagonize me that “I liked it”. The owner explained to me that if I wanted to work at the store, that encounters like that was part of how things are with the more successful DJs. 

Erick was by far the most sexually harassing bigger named DJ that would come into the store for me. The worst part about it was that I was just 17 years old & I was a somewhat shy girl who was obsessed with DJing, Jungle, Drum & Bass music & wanted to make (it in) electronic music so badly. I honestly did not know how to handle it when he would molest me in the middle of the store. 

I would get sick to my stomach with anxiety & my heart would race when he would come to the store or if I heard he was coming in. I did not have the emotional toughness & wherewithal to know how to handle it or tell him to fuck off. Nor did I have the option to quit because my father had literally thrown me out of his apartment & cut me off financially for deciding to be a DJ like he was- (my Dad was also a DJ, although he was a Radio DJ here in NYC). 

I needed that job & wanted to be at that Store so badly because I didn’t know what else I was going to do at that time. Record Stores back then were meccas if you were a DJ. They were very important places to work in when you were building up your career as a DJ because that was where you would buy your music and everyone in the scene would come in. 

Back then there wasn’t the option to buy music digitally, you had to shop at a Record Store. Stuff like this really was hard & still is hard to this day because of all the blaming & shame. Especially because at that time if you spoke up, you ran risk of being cancelled by the male dominated scene. There were very few of us female DJs & artists then. I would feel so mad at myself for not knowing how to handle him molesting me & ashamed that I had to go through with that treatment as I tried to figure out another, less demeaning way as a DJ. 

Not only did I not like that & was teased that I did, but then there was the fact that all of my male coworkers forced that on me. With all of the RIP Erick Morillo’s circulating, I had to speak up & say something because everyone that actually knew him, knew what he was like. It was so wrong what I went through (especially at 17 years old for gods sake) & I am thankful that I can finally be honest about my many experiences with him over the year & a half I was a buyer at that Record shop. 

When I first heard about Erick being arrested I was not surprised in the slightest. I contemplated posting something then about my experiences, but with all the negativity that has been going on, I didn’t want more stress in my life. After spending sometime thinking more about all of this, I realized that if I didn’t speak up, it could possibly give an other person a chance to do this without being held accountable and I want to help be a part of the change that needs to happen not only in the Music scene, but also in this world.”

A DJ from France Dj Ralph shares a link on his profile that originates from Foulspeakers.com in which an unknown author accused the female victim of Erick Morillo of lying in the most womanly unfriendly way.

This convicted criminal Kristen Knight (real name: Christine Mendoza) is a wannabe DJ and talentless hack of a musical artist who has wrongfully accused the late Erick Morillo of sexual battery and sexual assault, which drove him to suicide / drug overdose. 

While Erick Morillo has had a troubled past with his struggles with drugs and alcohol, Kristen Knight is a big-time crook who has as a long history of accusing older rich married men of sexual assault and then demanding a hefty payment to “make the case go away”. 

After the fully consensual sexual encounter between Morillo, her slutty friend and herself in December 2019, Kristen Knight approached Erick Morillo to “pay up” so that she would not press charges or “she would make the case go to court”. Kristen Knight is a fat unattractive out of shape overweight freak who routinely uses photoshop to enhance her pictures and not to mention the pounds of makeup on her, fake eye lashes, hideous tattoos, etc. hahahaha. 

Kristen Knight has always been a fraudster. Kristen Knight was a prostitute in the South Beach Miami area until she was arrested and convicted of several serious criminal offences including threatening clients with a loaded gun. Kristen Knight left the sex trade business after she tested positive for several STDs including HIV. 

Kristen Knight was also convicted for forgery, credit card fraud and she served jail time for those offences. Kristen Knight then moved on to being an escort who continued selling sex for money… that was until she got older and found a way to scam clubs and party goers with DJing given that she had no such skill. Kristen Knight is 47 years old but she tells people that she is only 30 years old, LOOOOL. 

Kristen Knight has a 13 year old daughter (father unknown much like her own broken family). Kristen Knight’s mother married a Cuban immigrant who left her and her mom when she was young; her mother was also a sex-trade worker in Miami. Kristen Knight has a 1,000+ dude body count yet she suckered many DJs, club promoters, owners to smash her in order to get her into the scene. 

She finally found this pompous fool Roger Sanchez (aka Roger S, S-Man, etc) who is a complete has-been no name fat balding clown to take her on tours. This idiot Roger Sanchez has never had a hit in over 40 years (and he is the laughing stock amongst other accomplished DJs), was divorced by his ex-wife Cleo who has custody of his teenage kids because he paid for sex with Kristen Knight. 

Kristen Knight is still actively listed on Seeking Arrangements looking for a sugar daddy to pay her bills (while still “dating” this bozo Roger Sanchez) and she still brandishes having played with Erick Morillo in her website, on her bios, promos, etc. What a despicable person this Kristen Knight is!!! After this Morillo incident, surely no respectable club, promotion agency or any other entity will book these criminals Kristen Knight and her simp of a boyfriend Roger Sanchez. Stay away from these trashy AF crooks!!!”

The female DJ Kristen Knight also the partner of Roger Sanchez is linked with this case, according to the anonymous author. No information or statements can be found on her social network to verify the story.

There is a division between the DJs about Erick Morillo. Some find it disgracefull and another group of DJs share memories on social network.
